Authorities say one of the 10 bison that escaped from a Richmondville farm last week has been rounded up. Schoharie County Sheriff Tony Desmond says a male bison was caught six days after escaping from the Grumpy Buffalo Farm Desmond says five of the bison are still presumed to be in the woods near the farm, but the status of the other escapees unknown. The Times Union reported on Saturday that three of the roaming bison were shot and killed because they posed a threat to people. The farm's owner has declined to comment about whether any of the escaped animals had been shot.
