The State Health Department confirmed this week that a young child admitted to Albany Med has the measles. Now, they say they've identified additional locations of potential exposure.

If you were a patient or visitor, and have not been immunized against measles, you may be at risk if you were in the ER on Friday, January 31st between 7:45 am and 5:45 pm, the C or D building service elevators or adjacent corridors in the basement and 7th floor between 3:45 and 5:45 pm, or floor C7 until midnight on Saturday, February 1st.

The hospital is notifying patients who may be at risk, and is urging visitors to contact their doctor if they're unsure.
