The New York State Museum has unveiled a new online exhbit featuring the only known recording of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s speech commemorating the 100th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln signing the Emancipation Proclamation.  

The speech was given to the New York Civil War Commission in New York City on September 12th, 1962.  The audio was recorded by former WGY "Schenectady Traveler" Enoch Squires.
