A woman was found hiding on a nearby porch of a Gloversville convenience store she just held up, police said.
Velvet Reed-Fulton, 29, was tracked down by police Thursday night, March 6, around 10 p.m. for robbing the Cumberland Farms on N. Main Street, police said. While en route, officers found the suspect had run off with some cash. The clerks gave them a description and they scoured a four-block area around Cumberland Farms, police said in a release.
A short time later, Reed-Fulton, of Helwig St., was found hiding on a porch near Third Ave. and Yale St. Police say a black BB gun and cash was found tossed on First Ave. She is charged Robbery (2nd Degree, Class C Felony), Criminal Use of a Firearm (2nd Degree, Class C Felony), Menacing (2nd Degree, Class A Misdemeanor) and Petit Larceny (Class A Misdemeanor).
Deputies from Fulton County Sheriff’s Department and Johnstown P.D. assisted, according to Michael Jory from Gloversville P.D.
