It’ll be 9 years in prison for Victor Shear on his admission that he robbed a bank in Slingerlands on August 21, 2013.

The 45 year old entered a Trustco bank wearing a construction helmet and vest and carrying some paperwork as measures of disguise. Shear then brandished a gun, took the money from a teller and fled, according to the Albany County District Attorney.

Shear was ultimately captured in South Carolina by members of the North Myrtle Beach Police Department and was extradited back to New York State.
