There’s a high wind warning for most of Eastern New York from 1pm Wednesday afternoon until 5am Thursday morning.
Forecasters say wind gusts, at times, could hit between 50 and 60 mph.
National Grid says there is a possibility of scattered power outages and the utility company is reminding us to never touch a downed power line and to keep a number of working flashlights on hand, plus your battery powered radio.
