Tense moments Friday in Gloversville after reports of a man pointing a gun at passing vehicles led to a standoff. Neighbors were put into lock-down for about 5 hours as police made several attempts to contact the man who had barricaded himself inside an apartment at 312 North Main Street.
Police say the man appeared to be suffering from an emotional crisis. The man posted a rambling video on Facebook live. After obtaining a search warrant, police entered the home and found the man dead. His name has not yet been released. An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday.
