A new building will be added at the Saratoga Race Course.
Officials with the New York Racing Association have been granted permission to construct a permanent building immediately adjacent to the end of the Clubhouse. Currently you'll find a seasonal tent and trailers there. NYRA will break ground for the new building at the end of the 2018 Saratoga summer meet.
Once the building is completed it will be a three-story, 36,000 square foot climate-controlled building with a basement kitchen. A variety of hospitality options will be offered in the upper floors.
NYRA says the project has received the endorsement of the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation and the building will be in keeping with the architecture of the grandstand and clubhouse.
