Albany police have arrested a 21-year-old man in connection with the July 4th stabbing death of Rashaun Byrd.
Lahquann Grady was arraigned in city court on murder charges this morning.
The 29-year-old Byrd was stabbed to death during a domestic incident on Orange St, and was later pronounced dead at Albany Medical Center. The incident took place at the onset of a rash of violence in the city that also included another homicide and 13 shootings.
