Governor Cuomo is urging state lawmakers to return to Albany ahead of his confirmation, that if Brett Kavanaugh winds up on the Supreme Court, it would be devastating to our country.
Cuomo says with Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court, you can say goodbye to a woman's right to choose, adding that New York relies on Roe versus Wade, as New York state law does not offer women the same protection.
He says a New York state law that codifies Roe versus Wade must be enacted, with Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court.
Cuomo is also encouraging lawmakers to pass the Red Flag Bill, which would allow judges to limit access to guns for those they deem dangerous.
