We're a few months away before we have to worry about Christmas shopping, but one group that delivers toys to kids is facing a double whammy this year.
The shutdown of some 800 Toys-R-Us stores means a big drop in donations to Toys for Tots.
In an exclusive story from our news partner, WNYT, we've learned that Amtrak says it won't be providing charter trains to deliver the toys because of new company policies.
Marine Gunnery Sgt. Albert Roman tells WNYT that the organization needs people to step up and that "Marines don't fail." Roman says they start taking donations in October, and make deliveries to kids in December.

Here are the new Amtrak guidelines:
April 18, 2018 Guidelines for Charter Trains Operated by Amtrak effective March 28, 2018:
-Charter Trains must operate on existing Amtrak routes
-Charter Trains must not be one-time trips
-Charter Trains proposing to use Amtrak resources such as equipment and crews are subject to the availability of those Amtrak resources without impact on regularly scheduled operations
-Charter Trains must generate sufficient financial benefit for Amtrak to justify the Amtrak resources and assets
-All Charter Train terms and conditions are subject to a final written agreement signed by Amtrak and the commercial charter customer.
