Things got heated at a Youth Department budget meeting Thursday night in Hudson, NY when someone in the overflow crowd threw a bag of dog feces at Mayor Rick Rector, Common Council President Thomas DePietro and City Treasurer Heather Campbell.
Some in the crowd had become angry after learning that Youth Director Nick Zanchos had been demoted.
The mess was cleaned up by the Mayor’s assistant, Brenda Maholtz, and the meeting then resumed.
Hudson police are investigating. It is not yet known who threw the dog poop.
