Syracuse.com released a list of the best and worst egg nog's available around the capital region. Some are locally produced and others are nationally available. Judges were made up of people from syracuse.com, the Post-Standard and NYup.com, and other food critics.
Each egg nog was tasted blindly and judged on appearance, taste aroma and overall opinion. After tasting all of the nog, the judges voted on the six finalists where a winner was eventually determined.
On the list are names like Silk, Pics, Lactaid and Byrne Dairy. But, taking the crown is locally owned Stewart's. You can see the whole list here.
