It's been about a year and a half since the town of Clifton Park acquired a 37-acre parcel of park land between Maxwell and Moe Roads, and now, officials want input from residents on what the wooded area should eventually look like. The town acquired the land from the Shenendehowa School District after a pair of referendums in 2017.
The town is in the midst of planning meetings, but Supervisor Phil Barrett says they're also putting out an on-line survey to get more people involved.
"So it's really asking for thoughts, ideas, and opinions on how they would like to see the future of this project move forward," Barrett said.
The survey basically asks people to choose from several different options for eventual development of the park.
"Some people say leave it the way it is," Barrett said. "You have others who say it should be fully developed as an active recreational center, and others who say maybe it should be a combination of both."
