A local business will be part of a showcase at the White House Monday. Businesses from each state have been invited to display their products during the Made in America Product Showcase. Tough Traveler, headquartered in Schenectady, was chosen to represent the Capital Region. President Nancy Gold says it was a pleasant surprise to get the invitation and that she's bringing Tough Traveler bags, luggage and backpacks.
She says she's also looking forward to seeing the other Made in America goods from the other states.
Gold says she has never been to the White House before.
