The National Weather Service confirmed Thursday that the Capital Region did get hit with two tornadoes Wednesday afternoon.
One was an EF1 Tornado that hit a section of Saratoga Springs around 3:35pm with a maximum wind speed of 105 MPH, a width of 75 yards, and traveled for 0.5 miles. No one was injured.
The other tornado touched down in Fulton County as an EF1 Tornado that hit a section on Johnstown. It traveled about half a mile, crossing Route 29 a little before 2:30, no one was injured by that tornado either.
