NYC Bribing Criminals to Show Up for Court with Sporting Event Tickets

With the new bail reform law starting in January, New York City has begun bribing criminals to show up for their court dates by giving them movie and Mets game tickets and gift cards. Mayor Bill De Blasio admits that he doesn't know how much the program costs or where the budget came from for doing it.

Another staff member claims that the Mets tickets are donated. What are your thoughts? Should we bribe criminals to come back to court?
