When a 15-year-old was caught sneaking boys into a sleepover, her parents gave her the choice of giving up her phone for a month or allowing them to take over her social media accounts for two weeks.
She is beginning to regret her decision to let them take over social media. Her dad, Larry Sumpter has become quite fond of TikTok and may make his own account after her punishment expires. He has even developed a fan base on Snapchat of her classmates, who check frequently for updates.
They have also enlisted help from other family members like her brother and Sumpter's Son-in-law.
