Troy City officials say it is safe to park in the Uncle Sam Parking Garage after a partial collapse Saturday afternoon. A large concrete beam fell in between two parked cars. The parking structure was shut down for a time Saturday afternoon as engineers inspected. Mayor Patrick Madden was also on the scene and says it is an isolated incident and it is still safe to park there. This incident happened at a time when many people were parked in the garage to attend the nearby Farmer's Market.
