Police in Niskayuna are urging residents to secure their cars and property amid a large number of reported thefts throughout the town.
According to the Niskayuna Police Department, over the past month numerous reports have been filed with the department where unlocked cars were entered and property stolen.
Items taken from the cars include, cash, credit cards, loose change and other valuables.
Some bicycles have been taken.
And Niskayuna Police are looking at home video from several residents which display one or more suspects either on foot or on a bicycle, wearing hooded sweatshirts and back packs.
