At Wednesday's coronavirus briefing, Albany County Executive Dan McCoy noted that he is in constant contact with other area leaders on plans to re-open the local economy.
McCoy says he hopes a report with those plans is done by Monday. Many local mayors, along with several assembly members and other elected officials have sent a letter to Governor Cuomo asking to utilize the current Capital Region Regional Economic Development Council to lead the effort to re-open the region.
