Modeled after similar art in Albany and around the country, the city of Schenectady is considering locations to add a Black Lives Matter street mural. The one in Albany is on part of Lark Street. The Daily Gazette reports that Jay Street and Broadway are possible locations according to Mayor Gary McCarthy. He says it's unclear if a proposed location on State Street in front of Proctors Theatre would be able to accommodate art due to the road's curve.
