Niskayuna Comptroller Paul Sebesta has resigned after a picture surfaced showing him wearing blackface.
He was suspended earlier this week after the photo from six years ago emerged on social media.
In a letter to town board members, Sebesta says his continued employment is no longer in the best interest of the Town of Niskayuna and himself.
