Governor Cuomo and the New York State Department of Health are investigating two coronavirus clusters at two businesses in Upstate New York, and one of them is in Montgomery County.
A cluster was initially discovered at the Oswego County Apple Packaging Plant.
State officials say as part of the contact tracing efforts related to that plant, it was determined that several employees may have contributed to new COVID-19 cases at Keymark Corporation Aluminum Production Plant in Fonda.
According to Montgomery County Executive Matt Ossenfort, there were 38 cases of the coronavirus at the plant.
The factory remains closed as the COVID-19 cluster is investigated and contained.
