Two Albany County Restaurants Close After Workers Test Positive for COVID

Two Albany County Restaurants are temporarily closing their doors after employees test positive for COVID-19.

The Albany County Health Department announced Thursday evening that three employees at Delmonico's on Central Avenue in Albany have tested positive for coronavirus. The State Department of Health will be holding onsite testing for employees on Friday and the restaurant will remain closed until all of the test results have come back.

Earlier on Thursday, The Philly Bar and Lounge on Watervliet Shaker Road in Latham shut down after three employees tested positive for the virus. The rest of the employees will be tested on Friday.

Any customer who has symptoms or concerns should also be tested. The State Health Department says both restaurants have been fully compliant.
