Governor Cuomo attempted to blast President Trump after the President threatened to take away federal funding for what Trump calls lawless cities. On a conference call Wednesday Cuomo said, "New York City knows him for the joke that he is, he better have an army if he thinks he's gonna walk down the street in New York."
In a memo, Trump mentioned that federal agencies can find potential cuts in places that permit anarchy, violence, and destruction. Trump's memo mentions the looting and spike in crime in New York City.
