During the Emmys virtual show, Late Night Comedy veteran David Letterman presented the award for Outstanding Variety Talk Series. The lead up to the award was a pre-recorded skit of Letterman taking an Uber to the Emmys. He's seen getting out of a car after a loud argument where the driver pronounces Albany like AL-bany. Thankfully, Letterman came to the rescue, telling the driver "First of all, it's not AL-bany, it's AWL-bany".
