The Troy community and beyond continues to react to the shooting death of 11 year-old Ayshawn Davis. WGY Financial Analyst Steve Bouchey met with Davis’ family recently and has created the Ayshawn Davis Memorial Fund.
Bouchey says there is a connection between the young man who died, and Bouchey's early life growing up in Troy.
It has been well documented, Ayshawn had talked the owner of Jimmy's Pizzeria in Troy into letting him wash windows, and wipe tables to make money to help his family. No arrests have been made for Ayshawn’s murder.
