Investigators from the New York State Department of Health will be returning to a Rensselaer County nursing home soon.
They've been wanting to get a look inside Van Rensselaer Manor in North Greenbush to try and pinpoint the source of a coronavirus outbreak. But those efforts have been denied by County Executive Steve McLaughlin who is asking the inspectors to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test. The inspectors have refused, saying they have documentation proving they're tested for coronavirus weekly.
