Some guards and inmates at the Rensselaer County Jail are under precautionary quarantine.
Officials say it's possible they could've been exposed to a corrections officer who has tested positive for COVID-19. Several prisoners have already been tested in order to prevent an outbreak at the Troy facility. One wing of the jail is also being deep cleaned and disinfected to eliminate potential sources of infection.
