The legislative director for Brooklyn Assemblyman Peter Abbate Junior has been arrested in Watervliet on sexual abuse charges.
Police say 40-year-old Joseph Brady allegedly assaulted the 18-year-old victim at his home on Third Avenue. When Brady was taken into custody Saturday, officials also found bomb making materials and drugs inside the residence. He was sent to the Albany County Jail on $50,000 bail.
