Saratoga Springs police are trying to find out what happened moments before a pedestrian was struck and killed.
Officials believe the 46-year-old man was walking along Route 29 near Buff Road Thursday when he ended up in the eastbound lane and got hit by an SUV. The victim, whose name hasn't been released, died at the scene. Police are asking anyone who saw what happened to call them.
