The University at Albany is taking a big step towards preventing a coronavirus outbreak.
The school says every student living in a campus residence hall or apartment must submit a saliva sample by five Friday afternoon. Those samples can be put in collection boxes around campus before they're sent out to be tested. Over the last few days, there's been a spike in the number of positive and presumed positive infections at the university.
