Some new data is revealing the impact COVID-19 is continuing to have on schools in the Capital Region.
According to news reports, there have been 39 new cases of the illness in area districts over the past week, a 29% increase. Overall, 192 people locally have contracted the virus since the beginning of the academic year. That total includes students and staff who may be learning or working off-site.
