Three people have been indicted in connection to a June homicide in Albany.
The indictment alleges that Amier Grant assaulted Sharrod Smoot with a metal baton and knife, which caused his death, and that Ericka Gipson and Kiyah Taylor allegedly assisted. All three have pleaded not guilty. Grant was taken into custody while Gipson and Taylor were released.
