Governor Cuomo says it's unlikely the state will order schools across New York to shut down due to the coronavirus.
The governor said Thursday any decision to close a school can be made at the local level. Kids were sent home back in March as COVID-19 spread rapidly across the Empire State. Since then, many districts have resumed classes online or used a hybrid option of remote and in-person instruction.
