A local business owner was killed after he was hit by a car last night.
Colonie Police say Nicholas Huban was pushing a leaf blower on Troy-Schenectady Road in Latham last night when he was hit by a car.
Police say the driver of the car got out and tried to give Huban CPR, but Huban was pronounced dead on the way to the hospital.
Huban was the owner of On the Farm, a popular ice cream stand on Troy Schenectady Road. The accident occurred directly in front of his business.
Police say the driver is cooperating in the investigation and that speed or impairment were not factors in the crash.
