A Schenectady County nursing home is making changes after an increase in cases of COVID-19.
The Glendale Home in Glenville had its first cluster of cases reported last week, with eight residents and nine staff members testing positive. Schenectady County Manager Rory Fluman says the cluster was identified after an outside dental hygienist tested positive. Outside services will no longer be allowed. At the height of the pandemic in the spring, outside services like hair, dental and podiatry were shut down. But as cases went down this summer, services resumed.
