A Schenectady County nursing home has announced its first coronavirus-related death.
The 87-year-old woman was a patient at the Glendale Home in Glenville. The County Manager says she passed away on Wednesday and was one of several people at the facility battling the respiratory illness. All residents and staff have been screened for the disease over the last couple of weeks and the hope is the outbreak has been contained.
