Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan says she'll be running for a third term in office next year.
The Democrat had originally planned to serve only two terms but says given the challenges of 2020, she's the best person to help the city recover from the COVID-19 crisis. Sheehan also says she has several unfinished goals such as police reform and helping create the Albany Skyway. It's unknown right now if anyone is interested in challenging Sheehan for her position.
