Sheriff Craig Apple Discusses the Distribution of the COVID-19 Vaccine

The Albany County Sheriff's Office helping to administer the coronavirus vaccine. County Sheriff Craig Apple tells WGY's Doug & Kelly his office set up drive thru lanes at their public safety hub in Clarksville for people to get the vaccine (LISTEN TO THE PODCAST BELOW).

The Albany County Sheriff's office has already gotten 200 doses of the vaccine, which started to go out to first responders and front line workers Sunday. Apple says he also hopes to help get the vaccine to residents who fall under Phase 1B of the state's distribution plan. That includes people 75 and older, education workers, first responders and transit and public safety workers.
