Congressional Republicans are calling for Governor Cuomo to be subpoenaed so he can testify about his administration's handling of home residents during the COVID-19 pandemic.
GOP members of the Committee on Oversight and Reform want to look into any connection between the number of deaths at those facilities and the governor's directive that they take in people from hospitals who tested positive for COVID-19. Democrat and New York Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney is the head of the committee. She hasn't said if the governor will be subpoenaed or not.
