Albany County residents who are currently homebound will be able to receive a COVID-19 vaccination.
County Executive Dan McCoy said Sunday the county has received enough vaccine doses from the state, clearing the way for those folks to get their shots. In order to qualify, a resident has to meet certain criteria such as being over the age of 65 or having an underlying medical condition. There's still no word yet when the vaccinations are going to begin, however pre-registration is available online.
