Even though Governor Cuomo has said he won't step down, a growing number of lawmakers believe his resignation would best for New York.
Sunday, Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins said yesterday as more accusations are made against the governor she believes it'll be tougher for him to lead the state. Several other Democrats and also Republicans in both the Senate and Assembly released statements expressing a similar sentiment. The last New York governor to resign was Eliot Spitzer back in March 2008.
