One of the women accusing Governor Cuomo of sexual misconduct reportedly says he tried to make her sing.
The attorney for Charlotte Bennett tells CBS New York that when she was a new aide for the governor in 2019, she was told to learn the lyrics for Danny Boy. She says later that day Cuomo requested her to sing the song with top aide Melissa DeRosa standing by. When Bennett refused, DeRosa stepped in and said you are hazing her. The governor then started singing it, in hopes to encourage Bennett to join him. Cuomo is being investigated after a number of aides and other women came forward with sexual misconduct allegations. Cuomo denies any wrongdoing.
