According to a new report, Cuomo Administration officials threatened nursing home leaders during an intense phone call concerning coronavirus vaccines.
The New York Post says the call featured Health Commissioner Dr. Howard Zucker and special counsel Beth Garvey, who threatened to revoke licenses and enact fines. At issue was a dedicated supply of vaccines that were supposed to be used by nursing homes, but which weren't being picked up from designated drop off points. The Post's report quotes various sources from nursing homes who say that in fact they'd already gotten vaccines through other means, there were reporting issues, or allotted supplies simply weren't needed.
