State Police have ticketed the driver whose truck caused serious damage to a Northway overpass.
Troopers say he was traveling south near the Sitterly Road bridge on Wednesday when a boom lift on the truck's trailer struck the span, causing debris to fall. Three Northway lanes were shut down for several hours but two of them have already reopened. The State Department of Transportation also says the southbound on-ramp to the Northway from Route 146 in Clifton Park at Exit 9 is back open to traffic.
