The state Attorney General's office has been asked to look into Governor Cuomo's alleged use of state resources to help write his book on how he handled the COVID-19 crisis.
The request was made by State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli, who recently sent Attorney General Letitia James a letter requesting an investigation begin. The AG's office said Monday it received the letter but would have no further comment. An adviser to the governor says any implication of improper activity is absurd and anyone who contributed to the book project did so voluntarily.
