Colleges and universities across New York are offering new courses about cannabis management now that pot is legal in the state.
Excelsior College has just started offering a marijuana master's degree that ends with students receiving a certificate in "Cannabis Control." SUNY says 10 of its campuses are offering pot-based courses for students who want to go into the marijuana management. SUNY's Farmingdale campus offers up a Cannabis Production and Management Certificate. NYU's Stern School Business reports it started a cannabis program for students and alumni who want to meet and learn from pot industry professionals as well .
