Governor Cuomo is being paid $5.1 million dollars for his book on the coronavirus pandemic, according to tax filings. The Democratic governor reported $3.21 million dollars in earnings last year, with an expected one million dollars coming each of the next two years. Titled "American Crisis: Leadership Lessons from the COVID-19 Pandemic," the book focuses on Cuomo's time in office since the coronavirus outbreak.
There have been allegations he used public resources and members of his own staff to get the book completed. He also faces ongoing questions about whether the true number of nursing home deaths was covered up.
